Accoustic version is nice too. Maybe "Amazing" should be my new word?

as a way to burn some extra calories. Start with D.J. Earworm's latest:
Like, OMG Baby (Capital FM Summertime Ball Mashup)

A nice dance for sending off summer. It helps if you like mashups. Guess what? I do! I was dancing to it in the parking lot of the Greendale Theater while waiting for my friend to pick me up. Dance like no one is watching.....

:p
Admittedly I am Pop Music junkie. I am sure it's the beat. Rhythm has always been my thing. When I spied a link to DJ Earworm's newest mashup "United States of Pop 2009 - Blame It On The Pop" it honestly has changed the course of this day. I jumped up and danced as they say "like no one is watching". Well my Blue and Gold enjoyed it too, but she likes a good head bob as well. Enjoy. Have a Happy and Safe New Year everyone! Now get the party started!!!

Eliptical Trainers
Check this out: Marina's High-nrg Fitness click on #9-You Are The Best!. I love this! I will go broke if I listen to any more. I love her philosophy about music making our bodies move (I heard a radio interview), and the fact she has lost over 100 pounds helps. Way to go Marina. I've told you all so many time your activity needs to be fun and here's another way.

Music, song and rhythm speak directly to our more basic selves. I think this is why we almost automatically began to tap or feet or bob our heads when a song moves us. We can use this connection to help us "Choose Your Attitude". What does it mean to choose your attitude? Simply, to choose your attitude is to own how you feel. Is the feeling appropriate for your circumstances? It may be that you should feel sad. However, if you are attributing a mood or feeling to another's actions or influence, or to an uncontrolled or unchosen circumstance, then the the attitude is not yours.
Choose another. If happy is your choice start with a smile. :):D:p:>> For Reasons to Smile click here. It really does increase your face value and may help weight-loss too! I dedicate to you, "Smile" by Vitamin C (lyric below the video for you karaoke types).

"Smile"

Alright...
Alright...

First of all

When you wake up in the evening and the day is shot
Find yourself complaining 'bout the things you ain't got
Never crossed just the way that you wanted it to
Cliche of the day, cest la vie that's just

[Chorus:]
Life, it ain't easy
It's so tough
It ain't easy
(Whatchu wanna do, say whatchu gonna do)
Put a smile on your face
Make the world a better place
Put a smile on your face
(Whatchu wanna do, say whatchu gonna do)
Put a smile on your face
Make the world a better place
Put a smile on your face
(Whatchu wanna do, say whatchu gonna do)

And another thing

You can say that I'm a dreamer and you think it's uncool
Preaching 'bout the better life I learned in school
But you get what you give in this life that we live
And all that you do come back to you

[Repeat Chorus]

Yo,
When things isn't right there's no need to fight
Come on be nice
No need to fight
Stay polite even when you're hurting don't forget to smile
Give love to our nation, big or small
When you do good you'll get your reward
United with stand, divided we fall
Put a smile on your face and greet one and all

[Repeat Chorus]

People love you when you smile
And hate you when it's through
Lots of happiness
We are wishing you
If you come from Jamaica or Honolulu, yeah
Keep a smile on your face
I'll see the good that you do

Smile (smile)
And everything will be fine..
[cont. ad lib till end]

After losing seventy-six pounds in 1997 with the Weight Watchers program, I became a meeting leader. These are my personal tips, challenges and helps in hopes they will help others choosing to create their own "healthy lifestyle" that includes weight loss as a goal. What I mean by that is that anything contained in this blog is my own opinion and in no way reflects the opinions of Weight Watchers of North America, Inc. and that for the most current and accurate information on Weight Watchers you should attend a meeting or visit http://www.weightwatchers.com.
