I love Taco Bell. Always have. Always will.
I would have bet that XXL in the title of a menu item would have automatically prompted a high-level avoidance response. The picture was well, pretty, attractive, inviting, tantalizing, delicious. I order the XXL Grilled Stuffed Burrito - Chicken. I almost dropped the bag when the server handed it to me. It was that heavy. I enjoyed it. I'm just not sure it was worth the 22 PointsPlus values. It could have been worse. Funny how that always makes me feel better. Acknowledging restraint as a badge of honor. Good for me.

I originally wrote this as a post on my weightwatchers.com eTools blog in June. I guess one every 6 months isn't bad. I just wish it hadn't been the day before THANKSGIVING!

Did you know Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo were at the Tast of Blue Ash on Friday?

No. No, I didn't.

Further more, where were you two weeks ago and why didn't you tell me about it then?

{wavy lines across the screen implying some sort of time distortion}I joined the Columbia House Record Club. (note: no "and tape" no "music" no "
cd" in the name) I just received in the US mail a 12 and 1/2 square cardboard box. Inside are "In The Heat of the Night" and "Crimes of Passion", LP's by Pat Benatar...and so the obsession begins.
My favorite album is "Get Nervous".
I wrote a meme called "My Life in Song" using Pat Benatar songs, It's on FB.
Finally, I've decided that it is my personal mission to get you...

This week we talked about how to "Get Unstuck". Your weekly does a great job of helping you zero in on what behaviors you may have slacked off on for what I am sure we all want to be for only a short time so review, review, review.

I remember when I fell into the "ok" place. It turned out it was mostly because I hadn't been allowing myself to have foods I liked. Long before I joined Weight Watchers, I lived across the street from Dunkin Donuts. At the time the only danger I saw in that was running across 4 lanes of traffic to get there. It was in the middle of the block. With time and repetition of course the habit of coffee and donuts was born. Gratefully enough time has passed that that habit is gone. In the interim however I did have a run in with a box of 24. Being overly restrictive and the habit of labeling food as "on" or "off" program was one of my personal demons and greatest triumphs in a long a worthwhile journey. In the end it will all be worth it!

ambivalence is a time suck!
work out vs. watch t.v.
play video games vs. work on email lists.
email list won! ;)
I love my members.
See you at your meeting.
(Long weekend of counting product for inventory has me feeling a little over done.)

Accoustic version is nice too. Maybe "Amazing" should be my new word?

After losing seventy-six pounds in 1997 with the Weight Watchers program, I became a meeting leader. These are my personal tips, challenges and helps in hopes they will help others choosing to create their own "healthy lifestyle" that includes weight loss as a goal. What I mean by that is that anything contained in this blog is my own opinion and in no way reflects the opinions of Weight Watchers of North America, Inc. and that for the most current and accurate information on Weight Watchers you should attend a meeting or visit http://www.weightwatchers.com.
